𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲. 🍰

Housemade desserts are becoming a bigger part of what we do at Nature’s Edge Bistro — and this Chocolate Mousse Cake is a pretty good example of where we’re headed.

Rich, chocolatey, made in-house, and definitely not an afterthought at the end of the meal.

We’re continuing to look for ways to make the Bistro experience better from start to finish, and that includes giving dessert the same attention we give the rest of the menu.

And don’t worry — when we find something from one of our purveyors that’s just too good to give up, we’ll still make room for it. The Dubai Chocolate Torte isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. 😋

𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻. And its distinctly American design was no accident.

Yes, it’s a b**r. 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙗𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩. ALL represents something we believe in as a company.

Step outside today and you’ll meet people who see the world very differently from one another. We won’t agree on every issue.

But we are still neighbors. We still care about our families, our communities and our country. We share far more with one another than we sometimes remember.

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

Twenty-five years ago today, our country was attacked. Nearly 3,000 lives were lost, countless others were forever changed, and Americans experienced a grief that is difficult to put into words.

In the days and weeks that followed, people came together. Differences that had seemed so important suddenly seemed smaller.

Over time, many of us have retreated back into our corners. It has become easier to surround ourselves with people who think like we do—and easier to forget how much we still have in common.

Today is a day to remember those we lost.

And perhaps also to remember that feeling of togetherness.

In our small part of the world, we make b**r and operate a place where people gather. We hope it can always be a place for conversation, friendship, disagreement, laughter and community.

As we wrap up the unofficial end of summer, we’ve been looking back at all the different ways people spent time with us this season.

Maybe you came for our award-winning food or drinks. Maybe it was live music on the Forest Stage, a table on Nature’s Edge Terrace, a hike or mountain bike ride from our property, a private event, or just a relaxed afternoon with friends, family, and a dog or two.

The weather didn’t always cooperate this summer, but apparently it was good enough for waterskiing groundhogs. 😂

Whatever brought you here, we’re grateful you chose to spend some of your summer with us.

And while summer may be winding down, we’re definitely not done.

Fall means a new seasonal menu, fall cocktails, Märzen and Multiple Infinities Stout, our Gourdeous Hike, the Spooky Trail, and plenty more still to come.
