If you missed it this morning, our Events Team—Courtney and Adrienne—was featured on the “Be Our Guest” segment on Upstate Living on NEWS10 ABC (WTEN).

Billy Floyd and the crew were extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home (and we hope they enjoyed the food). This trio did a wonderful job, and we’re excited to continue working with them. Be on the lookout next week, as rumor has it we may be popping up in the studio again. We’re also expecting them to stop by for a little fun on our turf soon.

Well, we teased that we had something fun up our sleeves for Sunday morning, but unfortunately, it wasn’t in the cards today, and we didn’t get it out as early as we would have liked. But without further ado, welcome to The Hideaway Chronicles!

This will be a weekly comic strip featuring our staff—and, at some point, our customers—as we showcase some of the funny and entertaining things that happen in the restaurant industry. Maybe next week’s strip will explain why we didn’t get this one out earlier.

We hope you enjoy it and find it entertaining. It should be a lot of fun, while also giving you a closer look at some of us and what happens behind the scenes.

We have all seen the celebrity sightings at the Hideaway, as well as the post about the “firing” last week… Well, we have something big on the horizon. Be on the lookout for a whole new adventure and for some behind-the-scenes hijinks that happen here daily. Be on the lookout Sunday morning!

Also, we need your help with this project. We will need some “regulars” to play recurring roles in this fun adventure we have planned. If you or someone you know is interested in more information and wants to be part of the fun, tag them (or yourself) in the comments below! We are looking for 3-5 of our regulars or top fans.

Another perfect day here at The Hideaway at Saratoga Lake. The sun is shining, and the golf course is rocking. It doesn't get much better!

It's a crazy time of year with Belmont in full swing downtown and many new faces in the area. Some LOVE this craziness and have to be a part of it, while some LOATHE it and try. to stay away; trust us, we get it either way, neither is wrong.

We here at The Hideaway at Saratoga Lake like to plant ourselves somewhere in the middle. We welcome everyone, whether they are here for a party with friends and looking to get “turnt” or just looking to enjoy a dinner with the family without the table next to you yelling at the horses running on the TV (for the record, they can't hear you). We embrace it all and enjoy every minute of it.

Come out tonight, or at any point this weekend, and say hello to some of our smiling faces. We are open until 9pm.

Good afternoon, everyone.
My name is Tim; you may know me from years of service here at the Hideaway. I've been here from the beginning, and today is officially my last day as the General Manager of the Hideaway… And, to be honest, I couldn't be happier!

No, I am not going anywhere. I'm still going to be here as an owner and will be helping out wherever I'm needed, so all the customers and staff are stuck with me for the foreseeable future (I'm sorry). But I do have quite a BIG announcement to share with everyone.

The reason I can step back and focus on the ownership side is that we have hired a “new” general manager. We are beyond excited to welcome back our longtime chef, Casey Noviello, as our new general manager. I could not pass the role on to a more talented or better person, and I am excited to work with him to continue making the Hideaway the best it can be.

I do also want to take a moment and thank the staff for the tremendous job they have been doing this golf season. They take on every day and every challenge with a can-do attitude and the excitement needed to keep pushing us to where we know we can go. We still have some work to do, but every day we live, and we learn, and that is undoubtedly what is needed.

We had a great time working with The Lucky Puppy Rescue for their golf tournament last month, and some of our events team were lucky enough to be invited to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new bus. We are so happy for them, they are the best!

While at the event today, Adrienne and Courtney were lucky enough to meet one of the most popular local celebrities. Yes, that is right, they got to meet Miss Peaches and her handler, pictured below.

(Yes, we are aware the handler is David Portnoy - El Presidente)
