🏇 Well, that’s all folks! Another summer meet in the books!

👏 We would like to thank all of our staff, security, entertainers and distribution partners for all of their hard work and support this past season! Most importantly, we also want to recognize all of our local and visiting guests! The Shoe would not experience the success without your loyal patronage during the meet and continued support during the off season! Thank you all!

🧼 The Shoe will be closed until Friday, September 25th for deep cleaning, organization and a little rest & relaxation for all of our staff that have been working around the clock all season! 😴

😃 We can’t wait to see you all in a couple weeks rested and ready to serve you!

🏇 AND THEY’RE OFF (for the final days of the meet)! This weekend, we are coming out of the gate with a few delicious brunch features that are chalk to win your palate!

🍳 This weekend will be offering a Katsu Benedict! Hand breaded pork katsu, fried poached eggs and katsu BBQ hollandaise over homemade milk bread.

🌮 We will also be featuring Carnitas Breakfast Tacos. Unlike your typical tortilla shell tacos, we will be using homemade cornbread pancake shells filled with carnitas pork, cheddar jack cheese and a corn & poblano salsa!

🍔 And… our crowd favorite, Breakfast Smash Burger has returned! All beef smash patty, over easy egg, bacon, cheddar cheese and a drizzle of syrup on a toasted English muffin!

☀️ Brunch served the remainder of the weekend from 8am to 1pm! Get to The Shoe and help us to close out another incredible season before we take a much needed vacation!

🐴 Happy Alabama Stakes weekend! Stop in this weekend for some of your favorite breakfast classics or get adventurous and try one of our features!

🍳 This weekend we will be offering Chilaquiles! This classic Mexican breakfast dish features tortilla chips simmered in a salsa roja topped with sunny side up eggs, chorizo, cotija cheese and fresh cilantro.

Also featured during brunch this week:

🍑 Peaches & Cream French Toast
Three pieces of golden griddled French toast topped with fresh, grilled peaches and homemade vanilla bean whipped cream

🍽️ Biscuit & Gravy
Homemade sausage gravy over a flaky biscuit and over easy egg

🏇 AND THEY’RE OFF (again)! A new week, a new race schedule.

🥞 Now that the track is open for racing 5 days a week, we have revised our hours and will be open for breakfast on Wednesdays, in addition to our normal lunch and dinner service!

🍳 Come visit us for breakfast tomorrow morning starting at 8AM and seek shelter from what is shaping up to be a wet Wednesday!

🎂 In observance of America’s 250th Birthday, we will have revised hours this week. Although the track will be opening on Friday, we will be closed Saturday and Sunday. There will be no breakfast service or live entertainment this week.

🍻 Please come and visit us this Wednesday through Friday from 11:30am til 9:00pm for some delicious eats and cold drinks!

❤️ Harnessing Hope: A Benefit For The Saratoga Harness Families

🐴 In light of the devastating barn fire that took place at the Saratoga Casino Hotel Harness Track this week, we will be teaming up with the Saratoga Harness Horseperson’s Association to help support the trainers, staff and backstretch workers impacted by this tragedy.

🗓️ Please join us on Wednesday, June 24th from 5PM to 9PM for an evening of raffles, auctions, food, drinks and live music to help raise money for our trackside neighbors.

The Shoe Crew is deeply saddened to learn of the tragic fire that took place at The Saratoga Harness Track barns last night.
