Tuesday we will be hosting an author event with Botanica Books and VESSEL by Saratoga Clay Arts Center . Walk-ins welcome, space permitting. Then after the event we will be open for regular service.

This week we have warm pineapple upside down cake served with whipped cream and a drizzle of sea salt caramel from Kilwins Saratoga . It's good. You should try it.

Here we are in the last week of track season. After being open for a smidge more than a year we crunched the numbers in our POS and the results were pretty clear. People love small hotdogs. So we're bringing you more flavors! I mean, a smattering of hot dogs and a frosty rootbeer float is a nice way to ride out the rest of summer. Or a classic retro favorite, the pineapple upside down cake. And we put the key lime pie on for a special customer, you know who you are.

As we’re going into the final weeks of track season we just want to thank all of our locals who brave the downtown insanity to come to our little bar. And to those who disappear for the summer, we look forward to welcoming you back. As the track fervor dies down we’ll have the time to do a little menu revamp for our cocktails and fare. If there’s anything you’d like to see, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate. And if you’re in the industry, you know where to come at the end of the night to unwind and commiserate. We’ve got cold drinks and a friendly ear for you to bend. Two weeks to go people, we can do this!

Well, while not back to 100% we will be open this evening. The show must go on. Got a few new snacks this week, some new desserts, some specials on the boards. If you ever thought to yourself, “You know what this town needs? More chicken Parm.” Then you’ll be pleased to see chicken Parm sliders on the menu this week. So swing by for a snack or a sweet treat and as always a tasty cocktail.

We will be closed today for repairs. Do you want to know what it’s like owning a restaurant? Well, the toilet broke over the weekend, so I come in to meet the repair guy and find a huge puddle of water. Where is it coming from? Who knows. Ceiling tiles are fine. Coolers are fine. It’s coming out of the wall maybe? So, now we’re talking about cutting into the wall to check pipes. Kitchen gremlins hard at work.
