Sarasota, here we come!
It's Tuesday, so more taco news.
According to permits under review by the City of Sarasota, Government, the building that was supposed to become the Tavern on Main Brewery, will now become a new taco restaurant. it's still many months away, and a contractor for the project hasn't been announced.
The restaurant will be the Baltimore, MD based Banditos Tacos and Tequila. (Not to be confused with Agave Bandido, opening at Waterside Place.) The restaurant offers a large menu of tacos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, daily specials and a kids menu.
Banditos TnT refers to themselves as a "taco temple inspired by the mouthwatering flavors of Mexican street food."
According to the under review permit information, the 15,000 square foot restaurant will operate both indoor and outdoor rooftop seating. City zoning regulations would require that all patrons vacate the outside rooftop area by 11:00PM and no amplified music or amplified entertainment would be allowed.
