We’re STOKED to be pouring beer once again at the Petaluma River Craft Beer Festival!

The Petaluma River Craft Beer Festival is a celebration of local craft beer, food, music, and community! Held along the scenic Petaluma River, the festival features dozens of North Bay breweries, delicious bites from local food vendors, and live music throughout the day.

GREEN MILL PILSNER Y’ALL!
Our Green Mill pilsner is a bubbly light-bodied golden lager, gently dry-hopped with Saaz and Cascade hops to bring out organey, floral aroma to compliment this in refreshing beer.

Penngrove’s Green Mill Inn was a popular local restaurant from the 1940s through the 1980s. Not an actual mill but named for a whimsical mill-inspired architectural feature added by one of its owners. In the ‘50s and ‘60s, The Green Mill Inn was a place “see and been seen” north of San Francisco. It’s Mother’s Day brunches could see as many as 2,500 diners. Famous guests include California state Senator Richard Nixon and future U.S. president Ronald Reagan.

The large, wooden, mill-shaped billboard facing the northbound side of Highway 101 at the end of Scott street by the Palace of Barrels has been mostly abandoned and ravaged by time but the future is looking up. Bergin University, founded by Sonoma county assistance dog pioneer Bonnie Bergin, purchased the property in 2017 and is in the process of completing renovations to create a new campus there.

HenHouse Brewing is STOKED to present the Jason Movrich & Mike Mulqueen from Playing the Dead, this Saturday, August 29th for this month’s Dead Saturday from 2-5pm!

Rooted in the heart of San Francisco’s storied musical landscape, Playing The Dead is more than just a tribute band—they are a living, breathing homage to the spirit of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia. Fusing improvisation, psychedelic textures, and heartfelt musicianship, the band captures the essence of The Dead’s legendary live shows while adding their own unique spark to every performance.

Formed by a collective of Bay Area musicians with deep reverence for The Dead’s catalog and countercultural ethos, Playing The Dead has quickly gained a loyal following throughout Northern California. Their shows are journeys—equal parts celebration and ceremony—where long-time Deadheads and new listeners alike gather to dance, connect, and relive the magic.

Whether lighting up a beloved Bay Area venue, an outdoor festival,  or a surprise pop-up jam, Playing The Dead delivers every show with the same adventurous spirit that made the Grateful Dead a phenomenon. For them, the music never stopped—it just evolved.

JUICED! CHERRY LIME y’all!!

As we all know, our Juiced! beers are light and lovely, made with fun fruit purees that play perfectly with Juiced!’s refreshingly tart palate and low, 4.0% ABV.

You’ll taste a dash of sea salt that smooths things out and makes those fruity flavors pop even louder on your tongue! We brewed this batch of Juiced! with hundreds of pounds of cherry puree and lime puree!! The resulting brew bursts with tart fruitiness just like dropping a sour candy into a cold glass of Cherry 7-Up.
