Second Street is devastated by the loss of Mark Dawson, a beloved member of the local beer community and the leader of our Packaging Team. Mark was a friend, a colleague, and an all-around beautiful person to be around, both inside the brewery and out in the world. He was very loved, and will be missed by all of us.

Mark was an exceptionally kind and thoughtful coworker; only a few weeks after joining our team and meeting everyone, he surprised us by picking out individualized Christmas gifts for everyone in the brewhouse. He was a great listener, was genuine, caring, quick with words and jokes.

If a corny pun on the bottom of one of our cans ever made you smile, it was Mark who put it there.

A celebration of Life for Mark will be announced in the coming weeks.

The songs of Glorieta Pines are inspired by the happenings of the world as seen through the lens of the American Southwest.

The trio, comprised of Brian Nelson (guitars), Lindsay Taylor (mandolin, fiddle) and Karina Wilson (fiddle), combines insightful songwriting and textured arrangements with tight vocal harmonies to achieve their unique blend of acoustic music.

Hailing from the Northern New Mexican towns of Glorieta and Santa Fe, each of the three members of Glorieta Pines has been making music with a variety of artists and bands for years. The Glorieta Pines project originated in 2020 as a duo between spouses Lindsay Taylor and Brian Nelson, with early performances including official virtual concerts for both the Brighton Fringe and Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2021.

The addition of Karina Wilson on fiddle in June of 2022 saw the polished arrangements and vocal harmonies of the duo format expand, with extended instrumental sections and deeper sonic textures, carrying Glorieta Pines’ original songs to new heights.

Show is Friday April 5th at 8:30, all ages, and free! We hope to see you.

We’re hiring in the brewhouse! A Brewery Stocking & Production Assistant transfers beer between our properties, delivers to accounts when needed, assists on the packaging line and more. Requires a valid NM drivers license and clean driving record, good people skills and dependability.

THURSDAY 🥳 We are so excited to welcome Seattle's Piroshky Piroshky Bakery for a pop up event at Rufina! Cutoff to preorder is TODAY at 3 PM, get your orders in!

How it works:
Guests select our best-selling pies online at piroshkybakery.com ahead of our visit.
Their piroshky is then hand-made and made-to-order.
Then the item is flash frozen and then delivered for pick up on the event day.

Join our team! We’re hiring for a Brewery Stocking and Production Assistant at Rufina. Full time/hourly entry level position with the possibility of advancement 🦾🍻🦾

Duties include:
-Transporting beer inventory to our taprooms and tracking transactions
- Occasionally delivering draft and package beer to retail accounts
- Racking finished beer from bright tanks into kegs
- Draft line cleaning and maintenance
- Assisting on packaging line as needed

Second Street Brewery at Rufina Taproom is hiring a front of house food & beverage runner. This is a tipped position that on average pays $18-25+ an hour. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a very popular and busy local restaurant. Looking for high energy, personable individuals that will thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is also responsible for order accuracy and must be able to effectively communicate with all staff members.

Must be at least 18 years old. Food handler and alcohol server permits are required but can be obtained upon hire.

Second Street Brewery is an award-winning brewery that has been serving great beer, food and hospitality for over 25 years.

Saturday 9/30! Atalaya RescueFest is back at Rufina Taproom, benefiting Atalaya Seatch and Rescue

Live music throughout the day with Bill Hearne, Strangers from Afar, and Escape on a Horse, along with the release of our Atalaya Altbier 🍻

30% of the days proceeds at Rufina go to ASAR, and there will be a silent auction and raffle with great prize 🎟️
