Condor's Hope Winery

Condor's Hope Winery condorshope.com/events Condor's Hope Vineyard. In this region, condors are being released to soar once again after returning from the brink of extinction.

Among the blue oaks and chaparral, Condor's Hope Ranch is nestled at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountains in Santa Barbara County. Our name captures the hope embodied by their resurgence and the care of the environment needed for all of us to flourish. The four acres of Condor's Hope dry-farmed grapes are grown in ways that respect and protect our natural surroundings. Winemaker JP Pawloski work

s with these grapes to transform their deep, zesty flavor into high quality wines that bring the essence of old California to your lips. With just 4 acres of vines, we limit production to 400 cases per year. Our Mediterranean climate of winter rainfall and dry summers, accentuated by the rain shadow of the Sierra Madre Mountains, provides the opportunity to produce excellent intensity in our grapes. To adapt our vineyard to the surrounding environment, we use traditional dry farming techniques in a head-pruned system. Ecological farming methods are combined with traditional dry-farm techniques to produce unique wines for all of us to enjoy while protecting and conserving our natural resources. We invite you to join Condor's Hope Network where you can order unique wines directly from us and learn about our sustainable practices and our care for the environment while you savor the excellent results.

We had a beautiful time with everyone that came out to the Wine & Wildflowers Festival to celebrate California’s Superbloom! 💐We hope everyone left our festival not only with an appreciation for the wildflowers and (hopefully!) wines, but also a closer connection to the land. It was such an amazing group, and we are forever thankful to the people in our community who continue to inspire us!

Don’t forget to sign up for some of our Spring Events using the link in our bio!! The wildflowers are brewing, and with these late winter rains (and snow!) we are confident that this year we’ll have an impressive Superbloom! Come out and experience it with us, with a glass of wine in hand 😉

We are also so honored to be partnering with and hosting Terra.do Climate Farm School in April! This will be an amazing educational experience, and we urge anyone interested in regenerative agriculture and climate change to check them out! More information to come!

Our Olive Harvest was a success thanks to everyone who joined us! Together we gathered around each olive tree and harvested a total of 3000 pounds of olives. We rely on our community so much, not just for the help, but also for the wonderful times we have together. It was great to see old friends, and make many new ones!

Thank you to Sandi for the marvelous photos that captured the weekend.

Gather ripe olives with us in a tradition that goes back millennia. We will have a community dinner together on Thursday and begin the harvest Friday morning! The harvest will go through Saturday afternoon, but we welcome you to stay and celebrate with us until lunch on Sunday. We provide all food as we touch the land together. No fees, but registration is required for all participants. Link in our bio to sign up for the harvest, including our Covid protocol!
