Pub Quiz at Old Kings Road

Pub Quiz at Old Kings Road Santa Barbara's Best and Oldest Pub Quiz Every Wednesday night at around 7pm we gather with our teams to imbibe knowledge and spirits.

Teams of up to six people. $5 entry fee per person. Bring your mastery of pop culture and other things you learned in school. Win drinks and cash prizes.

Wow... what a game!!! The Glitter Lizard Wizards enjoyed a strong start, with the duo of Biltmorons also showing nicely in the first few rounds. SoSo Cuties remained competitive throughout the game enjoying the only correct answer for the indigenous language of Peru. The Goonies had what can only be described as a pathetic game, missing the capital of one of their players’ home state.

But alas! Final Jeopardy takes no prisoners! From the Saints category, no team knew where Mary Magdalene’s relics are (France). Maddy’s virtual team consisting of players from around the globe, ANNIHILATED the in person teams with a final score of 30 points. Don’t worry, they are not allowed to win! So with a final score of 1 point (SoSo Cuties had .5 points, all other teams bet it all and lost it all) a shocking comeback by the Goonies who went on to win the CA$H pot of $170 by guessing the correct Canadian province of Nova Scotia.

Glitter Lizard winner requested skiing as a potential topic for next week’s game. Pot is $100, see you Wednesday!!!
