31 years ago Emigdio Vasquez juried a student show that we exhibited at our little Caged Chameleon gallery. Full circle as we’re searching for a location for a reunion exhibit of sorts. These memories rattle the gallery brain. Good times.

I had never worked in a restaurant in my life, but 3 1/2 years ago I took a chance in honor of my husband Jim Robbins.... it's been an amazing experience, even winning Best Wine Bar in OC! That's why this post may come as a surprise.

The Robbins Nest will be closing in approximately 2 weeks.

It's been an absolute honor to be part of this community and I will be eternally thankful for the friendships I've made because of it.

I want to say a special thank you to Richard Espinachio... when he joined us two years ago, he brought the restaurant to a whole new level! We did things and procured events I didn't think were possible. His new role will be running the DTSA Farmers Market now.... make sure to visit him and say hi on Sundays! 🍊

So, tonight will be our last Art Walk. Come by and send us off with a hug and some wine! 🍷
