Thursday night it’s a repeat formula in my Sonoramics experiment. Incendiary guitarist Byron Bordeaux has been a staple of the OC music scene for decades- from working with his imposing Soul-singer brother in Derek and The Diamonds to his own exquisitely faithful Hendrix tribute, MIRROR IMIJ. Byron has also added his unique talents to those of several well-known recording artists such as Buddy Miles, Bobby Womack and recently-passed James Ingram, who was an Akronite like me.
We did this once before a few weeks ago and I’m stoked to see what happens this time. Josh Schreiber will be on drums when the reaction occurs.
