Hungry Ear Coffee House Held at NWUU - Sandy Springs, GA. It is the oldest continuing coffee house in Greater Atlanta! E. Doors open at 7:30 and music starts at 8:00 p.m.

The Hungry Ear Coffee House is Atlanta's Acoustic Music Listening Room, with professional sound and an intimate setting - presenting monthly concerts with some of the best talent in the Atlanta and surrounding areas. The HUNGRY EAR Coffee House continues a tradition begun in the 1950s by the beat generation, shades of Jack Kerouac, Woody Guthrie and others. HUNGRY EAR is held the first Saturday of

each month at the Northwest Unitarian Universalist Congregation at 1025 Mt Vernon Hwy in Sandy Springs, inside #285, 1/2 mi. of Northside Dr.

Produced and Hosted by Rhonda and Troy Lashbrooks. Folk, singer/songwriter, smooth jazz and other exciting acoustic musicians perform. Light refreshments available. BYOB. $5 donation requested,

We are proud to present three of the most accomplished and hard-working, local area Singer-Songwriters on Saturday, August 31st at Roswell's Music Listening Room - Common Grounds Coffee House This will be a great night of songs and stories from experienced and seasoned professionals who have been making their mark in the music scene for years. Please come out and support these great artists, and do some good in the community!
Bring canned and dry goods to donate to the North Fulton Food Bank (not required for entrance), plus cash for the door, and to donate to the performers. Grab a friend and BYOB!

$5.00 Cash (at the door). Doors open at 7:00! Show starts at 7:30.

Julie Gribble - Julie performs a mellow, Alternative Rock with a twist of Americana Country style,. Her stage experience shines through, as she entrances audiences with her modern stories of life, love and relationships. They're not the same old love clichés. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Gribble was born with an infectious personality. Music gives her the means to express it.

Layne Denton - A Duluth, Georgia native, Layne Denton performs a blend of Folk, Blues & Americana, with a sprinkle of 'Outlaw Country', delivered with Inspiring lyrics, soulful vocals and impressive musicianship. His musical performances are laid-back and authentic. Layne performs solo, and with a full band throughout the region.

Katie Martin - Katie Martin is a multimedia artist and songwriter based out of Alabama, with ties to the Atlanta, Georgia area. She performs a unique blend of Blues, Folk, and Soul that is immediately compelling. She began working with Grammy Award winning producer Larry Mitchell in 2012, and has since released three albums with him: “Purpose” (2015), “Hope” (2018), and “Faith” (2022).
