The Niner Withdrawal crew has escalated. 😂

The same people who sent us the original withdrawal video sent us this masterpiece tonight.

Apparently we’ve reached the camping-outside-the-219-until-it-reopens stage.

The coolers. The blankets. The “LINE STARTS HERE” sign. 😭

We appreciate the dedication more than you know. ❤️

WE’RE BACK TOMORROW. 🍻🖤

What started as a planned two-day closure somehow turned into an 11-day adventure with this 89-year-old building.

If you’ve been following along, you’ve seen just about all of it — the roof work, the plastic covering practically everything inside, the disco ball taking over Zac’s seat, Meg becoming our unofficial construction correspondent, regulars checking the windows, and an increasingly serious outbreak of Niner Withdrawal. 😂

Through all the jokes, there has also been a crew working incredibly hard behind the scenes to get this building taken care of and The Niner put back together.

And finally, we get to say the thing we’ve been waiting to say:

The 219 Cocktail Lounge reopens TOMORROW at 11AM.

Regular hours. Cold drinks. Your usual seats. And one very happy Niner crew.

Thank you for every message, every check-in, every laugh, and every bit of patience over the last 11 days.

We seriously cannot wait to see you. 🖤🍻

Wh***ey Wednesday is getting a refresh.

We’ve got quite the wh***ey collection behind the bar at The Niner, and we figured it was time to start introducing you to some of it.

This week: Old Forester 1924 10-Year-Old.

It’s a 100-proof Kentucky straight bourbon aged 10 years — older than many everyday bourbons and bottled with plenty of character.

Each Wh***ey Wednesday, we’ll pull something from behind the bar and give you a closer look at what makes it interesting. Some you’ll recognize. Some might be completely new to you. And hopefully, somewhere along the way, you’ll find your next favorite pour.
