This Sunday, the most heartwarming stage at Live Oak comes alive for the Kids' Talent Show! 🎤✨

The Kids' Talent Show is a legendary Live Oak favorite full of big smiles, brave moments, and immense community pride. From toddlers to teens, children of all ages are invited to share songs, dances, jokes, magic tricks, or whatever unique talents they’re excited to show the world! Our wonderful festival crowd will be there to cheer them on every step of the way, making it an incredibly fun and supportive experience for everyone. 🙌❤️

We are so excited to welcome Learning Among the Oaks (LATO) back to the Children’s Area! A wonderful program of The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County, LATO is all about connecting families to the magic of our local environment.

Swipe to see the pure joy of their Creek Exploration hikes! Kids get to splash around and discover the wildlife along Dairy Creek while learning about native plants, creek bugs, and Leave No Trace principles. It’s a beautifully relaxed, playful way to connect with the natural surroundings of El Chorro Regional Park. 🔬🦋

How to Live Oak: Wake up to views like this next week! 🌳⛺

There is nothing quite like the Live Oak camping experience. Whether you’re an old pro or joining our welcoming village for the first time, here is your quick guide to the weekend:

🧳 Packing Essentials
Must-Haves: Sunscreen, hats, bug spray, headlamps, clothing layers (for warm days and cool nights), and reusable water bottles.

Festival Fun: Bikes and any musical instruments you don't mind getting dusty for campground jams. 🪕🚲

Forgot something? Sundries are available at the Mercantile at the back of the audience area.

🔥 Campfire & Cooking Rules
❌ Prohibited: Campfires (even in park rings), charcoal, and wood BBQs are strictly banned.
✔️ Permitted: Propane stoves and grills with a shut-off valve (cooking only).

🐾 Reminder: Sorry, no pets allowed.

🍽️ Food & Drink
Pack your own coolers with favorite foods and drinks, or partake in the delicious local food trucks and our Beer Garden (serving beer, wine, and cider) open Friday–Sunday. 🍔🍺

⛺️ Choose Your Camping Vibe
Mixed-Use Areas: Camp in your vehicle, pitch a tent, or set up an RV. (Note: Unless camping in your vehicle, please move it to long-term parking and get $50 Live Oak Bucks!)

Tent-Only Zones: Head to Banjo Basin, Fiddle Forest, or Dobro Diggins between the reserved RV spots for more breathing room.

Guitar Glade: Our peaceful, walk-in meadow. (Pro-tip: Bring a wagon to haul your gear! 🛒)
