The CP Swing Club puts on weekly beginning/intermediate swing lessons for students and community members on Sunday afternoons from 1-3pm and host free social dancing from 3-4pm. Additionally, we organize workshops that bring out of town teachers and dancers to share technique and great dances with our community. Each year the SLO Lindy Exchange brings in an array of bands, DJs and dancers from all

As well as organizing our events, we also work with the Drop Dead Blues Club and The San Luis Obispo Rugcutters. We organize a carpool from Cal Poly Campus to the Madonna Inn for Swing Dancing on Monday nights. We also help bring weekly blues dancing and yearly blues workshop to SLO. Our venue, Drop Dead Blues, provides lessons and social dancing into the wee hours of the morning. We have a reputation for being of the cheapest scenes in the state and are dedicated to maintaining that reputation by making our events as cheap as possible. This has also helped us maintain a reputation as the people's Lindy exchange.
