This Saturday is a special one! Once a year San Juan Bautista SHP hosts a picnic-style screening of Alfred Hitchcockās film āVertigoā right in The Plaza, where part of the movie was filmed.
Weāre planning to run a double feature that night and will be playing āRear Windowā at Coyote Call, starting at 8pm.
We will have low lights, a cozy vibe, and drinks + charcuterie and snacks available. Come see why Hitchcockās compelling camera work has stood the test of time!
The State Park Plaza is less than a 5 minute walk away from Coyote Call, which is located right on the Main Street of the Historic District in San Juan Bautista.
Curious to know more about this unique area? Come to town early and enjoy a self-guided walking tour, where you can scan the QR codes and dig into the lore of the past.

The Plaza History Association presents Alfred Hitchcockās dark and dizzying film āVertigoā annually, offering behind the scenes tours earlier in the day.
The haunting climax is filmed at the San Juan Bautista Mission, which feels eerie to watch as you sit beside it.
Catch āRear Window,ā also starring (a much more sane) James Stewart, at Coyote Call for a fun double feature! Starts at 8pm (21+ only).
