The update we never wanted to come has arrived...
The Red Stag will be closing it's doors Sept 30th.
We have been so lucky to have spent so many years hosting you through the years in the Burbank and even prior at the Almaden Lounge. It's been a pleasure to watch our regulars form friendships, watching you fall in love and get married, holding your hands through heartache and singing with you night after night.
This is, and will always be, a very special place to us and we will miss you all. Please come by these last couple months and reminisce with us and sing us a song.
Karaoke every single night at 8pm until we lock those doors one last time ❤️

Hello Red Stag Family,
We feel it's time to address the rumors about everyone's favorite karaoke bar.
The space we have rented for the last 16 years was sold to a new landlord who, unfortunately, has different plans for the space. This means that in the coming future, the Red Stag will sing it's last song.
We do not know the exact date as of now, but we promise to let you know when we do.
Until then, it's business as usual, 7 days a week.
So come out and visit the place where you had your first shot. Sang your first karaoke song. Where you come after work with your coworkers after a rough shift or every shift. Where you met your partner and fell in love, found your best friend and formed a bond...where you met your flamboyance of flamingos.
Come out and show the best karaoke bar in San Jose the love it deserves until our last song plays.

Attn: OUR BACK PATIO IS CLOSED PERMANENTLY. You cannot go out back and smoke. Alcohol is not permitted outside the building, FRONT AND BACK. The back door will have an alarm going forward. Thank you and we hate it too.
