It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Friend and Elk brother, Albert “Al” Fredrickson. Al entered Eternal Life on the morning of August 8, 2026.
Al was born on November 14, 1931. He proudly served our country during the Korean War as a Navy “Seabee”. He later married the love of his life Nancy. They lived a long and wonderful life together and Al adored his family. He was a Civil Engineer for the County of Los Angeles for many years.
A proud Elk for over 50 years and honored with a Life Membership, Al served in every position including ER and PDDGER. Later, he became the Lodge Secretary, volunteering many hours a day for over 10 years. At 94 years old, he was still serving faithfully. Last year he served as Loyal Knight and most recently as a dedicated Trustee. His work ethic was unmatched, still conducting audits for the Lodge and Chairing Dance events, mostly for the Ballroom Dancing Community which he loved. Al was always looking for ways to help the Lodge thrive and continue to be the success he had seen and contributed to it becoming.
He is reunited with his wife Nancy who passed just 17 months ago. Al is survived by his daughters Karen (Tim), and Debbie (Keith), 3 grandchildren Katie (Corey), Kyle (Lyndsey) and Tyler (Cassidy) and three Great Grandchildren Kennedy, Jett & Caleb Albert (named after Grandpa for his strength). Rest in peace dear brother, well done. ❤️
