THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! What a great night, thank you Hayes Valley for 14 incredible years. Thanks to all our friends and neighbors for coming out for the last Hurrah at 131 Gough. Thank you to our fabulous employees (and alumni!) without whom none of this would have been possible at all. Sauce lives on at 56 Belden, but we will miss the neighborhood we have loved for more than a decade. We have shared many moments big and small with all of you, and can not begin to express our gratitude and joy at having been a part of your lives and having you as a part of our lives. From new businesses to wedding and babies and even pink slip parties...we have all come together at Sauce to share and be a part of something. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you one and all.

Tonight is the last night in our original location 131 GOUGH in Hayes Valley, come and celebrate 14 fantastic years with us! $5 drink-it-dry party with complimentary apps 5 - close. Any spirit/cocktail from any open bottle is just $5 until they are all gone! $5 Drafts till all three kick...then $5 bottles *****CASH IS KING CASH IS KING****
Yes $5 Fortaleza $5 Whistle Pig $5 Root Manhattans $5 Crown XO etc. etc. if it's open on the back bar it's $5 till it's gone!! Rick& Joan, Hoss and Lorrie, Nate& Trisha, Matt&Liz and the whole fam-damnly are all in town to shut her down!! Come say goodbye to 20 feet of redwood that have propped you up for the past decade + We love Hayes Valley and we are going to miss ya...you'll just need to make the HUGE (1.3 miles) treck to come see us at Sauce Belden from now on...or of course you can swing by the Long View Lodge and say hi as well!

Big News on the Sauce Front! As you probably know we listed our building for sale a few months ago. With Matt and Nate moving their families back east, we decided it was time for us to reallocate some of our assets, and selling the property in Hayes Valley represented the best way to do so. We are currently under contract to sell our building 131-135 Gough street that houses both Sauce Gough and Sleep Over Sauce. In the coming weeks, we will be winding Sauce Gough (the Original) down and shifting focus to our Financial District location! So, come into 131 Gough and say so long to a decade+ of memories! Friday, September 28th will be the last day of dinner service for Sauce in Hayes Valley! Saturday September 29th will be a thank you/goodbye/drink it dry party to bring this chapter of our personal and business lives to a thunderous close!

We are excited by the opportunities this sale brings and look forward to continued operations at Sauce Belden and in our NY properties, as well as exploring new brands and businesses. You have just under three weeks to get yourself into Sauce and relive the glory days. We’d love to see you!
