DILES QUE NO ME MATEN IS COMING TO SAN FRANCISCO! 🇲🇽
On October 16, Mexico City’s 𝙳𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚜 𝚚𝚞𝚎 𝚗𝚘 𝚖𝚎 𝚖𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚗 headlines Rickshaw Stop for Psyched! Fest San Francisco 2026, bringing one of the most compelling sounds emerging from Mexico’s experimental underground.
Taking their name from a short story by legendary Mexican writer Juan Rulfo, Diles Que No Me Maten creates music that feels like a fever dream: hypnotic krautrock rhythms, psychedelic guitars, post-punk tension, spoken-word poetry and atmospheric experimentation.
Their songs unfold slowly, moving between repetition, distortion and moments of unexpected beauty. Rooted in Mexican literary and musical traditions but constantly pushing beyond them, the band has developed a sound that’s difficult to categorize and even harder to forget.
Joining them are Oakland’s Trough, Bay Area alternative rock band Present, experimental project ulyssescfm and ARDO, with a DJ set by Mirna Ortiz Treviño.
