As historically seems to happen among beer lovers, we've accumulated a few white dudes on staff. We aim to even that out with every new hire and are consistently seeking to bring more women and diversity on board with every hire. The trouble isn't our choice of hires, it's our options of candidates, and the trick is to get a wider array of people interested in the trade early.

This week we release a version of our 8lbs/BBL can made with and benefiting the Pink Boots Society promoting women in brewing. Meanwhile the top Seven Stills team heads to the Craft Beer Conference and BrewExpo America 2018 on the heels of the Brewers Association announcement of a dedicated diversity leader.

We're based in the most diverse neighborhood in the most diverse City in the world. As we grow we look forward to reflecting that.

Furthering its commitment to diversity, the Brewers Association has tapped J. Nikol Jackson-Beckham, Ph.D as its first-ever Diversity Ambassador.

Also coming May 2, from Development Tobais Funke's private reserve, we bring you a perfect Kettle Sour that calls on a German style of brewing specifically designed for warm-summer-month beers. Don't tell the police though, bc we accidentally dumped 420lbs of blueberry puree into the fermenter.
