*So* incredible to be a part of this unforgettable evening. Thanks so much to the team Life & Thyme together with raw chef & Hip Tastes collaborator Adina Niemerow for curating a gorgeous gathering at Adina's Mission kitchen. Pairing wines for the event was a thrill, from the first sip of GUNDERLOCH Kabinett Riesling through Dme du Viking Vouvray to Louis Sipp Alsatian Pinot Blanc, Abbaye Saint Hilaire rose and a 'vintage' bottle of the first Hip Tastes red made with Sutton Cellars Carl Sutton (werk it, Carignan Kid!) over in Dogpatch.

Life & Thyme hosted a dinner with Chef Adina Niemerow and Raw Chef Sarah Haugen at Adina's Test Kitchen in San Francisco, CA.

'Herb Caen once said that "cockroaches and socialites are the only things that can stay up all night and eat anything." Though we don't know many socialites, some of these spots where "anything" could be had would probably qualify as greasy spoons, the late-night bastions of the out-late crowd taking the edge off of an oncoming hangover with an indifferent plate of, well, anything. But if you find, as we do, that the best diners and coffee shops of our fine city are the unsung heroes of the dining scene, then these spots deserve a closer look (sorry, Herb)...'
