Happy New Year and REBEL GIRL is Bringing it on in 2020!
I'm excited to announce resident DJ Jeanine Da Feen from Wild 94.9! We will be spinning ALL Throwbacks for Rebel GIrl's Q***r Dance Party!

For those who don't know about Rebel Girl, I started it with my ex-partner Luz in 2000-2009 in San Francisco-that's 2 decades ago! Sh*t time flies when you're having fun! Rebel Girl was one of the most famed clubs in the LGBTQ scene back in the days. I know most of you weren't even old enough to party back then but a decade later I decided to bring it back to a safe, q***r space. What better place to bring it back at Jolene's Bar San Francisco. And guess who was one of the many patrons that attended RG back in the days?? Of course Jolene Linsangan :)

I've always wanted to spin music that you don't normally hear in clubs these days, also creating a safe, fun space for a party you can all get your b***y movin'! In 2000 Rebel Girl 's music format featured all female vocals, mostly riot girl, punk, rock hence how I named it Rebel Girl after a Bikini Kill song. RG later evolved into different genres adding old school hip hop, electro, indie rock, 80's & 90's. What made Rebel Girl so special was the eclectic mix of music from all the awesome DJ's including (resident Cari Campbell DJ Wax Chef, Skylar Love, Chelsea Starr, Lisa Pittman) and all the great vibes on the dance floor-it was epic!

I brought back Rebel Girl for my passion of music, spinning all kinds of genres and to continue supporting our community :)
