Chosen by Rolling Stone magazine (RS 813) as "the best place to hear live music in San Francisco"-- and voted "Best Rock Club" by SF Bay Guardian's readers for countless years, including 2008-2012-- the Bottom of the Hill presents some of the finest original artists, nearly seven nights a week. Featuring emerging acts from around the globe as well as our own backyard, Bottom of the Hill's music spans the spectrum from alternative, rock-a-billy, punk, and hard rock, to folk, funk and pop. Some of the amazing acts that cut their teeth here:

We're equipped with a full bar, a kitchen that stays open late and a patio area where guests can escape the crowd. The club is also available for private parties, showcases and other events.
