In the 1940s, a group of Disney animators picked up instruments after hours and became one of the most beloved Dixieland bands in the country. The Firehouse Five Plus Two — chaotic, joyful, completely sincere. This one's for them.

Firehouse Five: strawberry gin, vermouth, a touch of sour lime. Order it when the night is just getting started.

We need your help, darlings. 🫒✨

Vote for Dawn Club to be added to the SF Martini Trail... and with two coveted new spots up for grabs, your vote could put us on the map.

The SF Martini Trail celebrates the city's most iconic cocktail culture, and we think The Revivalist: olive oil-washed Ketel One, La Fuerza blanco vermouth, a touch of Italicus bergamot, served up in a Nick & Nora—belongs on that list. Nominations are open now through May 20. Vote for Dawn Club and help us show San Francisco what we're made of. 🔗 in bio. Cheers! 🍸

San Francisco has been making martinis since before most cities knew what a cocktail was. And right here, in this room, that history runs deeper than most. The original Dawn Club opened in 1933 — a speakeasy on Annie Street that became the heartbeat of San Francisco's jazz revival. Its radio broadcasts went out across the Pacific on Friday and Saturday nights, carrying what became known as the original San Francisco jazz style to the world. We didn't just inherit that legacy, we brought it back🍸

Now, the SF Martini Trail is looking for two new spots worthy of this city's story and we believe Dawn Club belongs on that list. This one's up to you, San Francisco! Head to the link in our bio, nominate us, and help us make history again🌙

McCall, Hawaii’s first lady of jazz is a multi-award winning vocalist. She is heir to the vocal tradition of Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae and Ella Fitzgerald. Her warmth and sense of humor fuel every interpretation. After releasing her first CD ‘Body and Soul’ she was asked by the great bassist Ray Brown to be his vocalist on tour. Of course, she accepted, beginning an incredible jazz journey – school was in! Soon after, Azure became the first singer to work with Freddie Hubbard’s band. Additional collaborators include Frank Morgan, Tennyson Stephens, Joe Lovano, Geoffrey Keezer, Curtis Lundy, Dizzy Gillespie and many more. In 2008, President Barack Obama asked her to perform at his pre-election party. “That’s why he won,” Azure says (smiling). Azure became the ‘Jazz Diva’ for Celebrity and Royal Caribbean Cruises. She has traveled to more than 50 countries including, Greece, Germany, Russia, and Italy- just to name a few.

🎷 Fog City Swing | Tonight at Dawn Club | 8PM–12AM 🎷

Co-led by trumpeter Daniel Herrera and saxophonist Greg Johnson, Fog City Swing set out to become the world's smallest big band — and they've delivered. Rapidly becoming one of the preeminent jazz and swing bands in the Bay Area, their residency at the Dawn Club features some of Northern California's top vocalists and instrumentalists to consistently sold-out crowds.
Their song list runs from Sinatra and Count Basie all the way to Michael Jackson — a completely original sound that transports you straight to the 1940s and back again.
Three horns. Seven players. One unforgettable night. 🎺✨

🎟Reservation fee waived on weekends before 7PM and after 12:15AM. Bar top is first come, first served — no fee or reservation needed.
