Sunday Improv

Sunday Improv Drop-in Improv Workshop for all levels, almost every Sunday at VOICE ONE in SAN FRANCISCO. Only $15! 5:30pm Sundays from 5:30-8:30

Improvisers of all levels get to play together in a workshop lead by experienced San Francisco performers/teachers. Focus is on teamwork, listening, getting comfortable on stage and building theatre skills with a swell group of people who are out to have fun, laugh and maybe get a beer (or lemonade) afterwards.

This Sunday, May 21st: Specialty Class - Expand Your Range

In improv we use fun, playful low stress techniques to expand our range of characters. Wouldn't you like to be able play characters with a different status than yours, have tools for playing other genres, or have a way to explore finding physicalities that are expressive or find a voice of a character that you enjoy playing.

This Sunday April 30th: Using Improv to Build Self-Confidence.

It’s well known that Improv helps you think on your feet - you don’t have time to prepare so you must decide what to say immediately. In this safe and playful environment you let go of control. If you want to feel more self-confidence in situations where you feel challenged to express yourself, this class will work on performance anxiety, spontaneity, and losing self-judgment. You allow yourself to get out of your head and out of your own way. If you experience social anxiety, here and there, put let the play of Improv help you relax.
