I Am Still Here is a heartfelt book for anyone navigating the loss of a beloved pet. 🐾❤️

Pet grief is real, and having a place to feel understood can make all the difference. This event feels especially meaningful to us following the recent loss of Bentley, the beloved Mayor of Whiskers & Wine and a very special member of our extended family.

Bentley and his mom, Shane, helped bring this event together. We know Bentley would want it to offer comfort, connection, and healing to others missing a cherished companion. Healing Nature Collective

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of Bentley, our beloved Mayor of Whiskers & Wine. 💔🐾

Bentley earned his title in September last year when he won our “Become the Mayor of Whiskers & Wine” photo contest, and he took his new role seriously. One of his first orders of business was adopting Shanti from Whiskers & Wine and welcoming her into his family with his mom, Shane.

Bentley was an older kitty who lived a long, happy, and wonderfully adventurous life. He loved going for walks in his harness, taking stroller rides, and even surfing with Shane. He lived near Whiskers & Wine and always enjoyed seeing members of our team stop by his window to say hello.

Throughout his term, Bentley used his platform to create awareness for kitties who are often overlooked and harder to adopt. He also recently helped organize our upcoming book-signing event about pet grief, "I'm Still Here". In his own way, we know that Bentley wants to help us through this difficult time.

Bentley passed peacefully in his sleep, in his own bed, and surrounded by a family who loved him deeply. While our hearts are broken, we are grateful that this very special kitty had such a full life and gave so much love in return.

We’re sending all our love to Shane and Bentley’s family as they grieve the loss of their best friend. Thank you for sharing Bentley with our community and allowing him to become such a special part of Whiskers & Wine.

Rest easy, Mayor Bentley. We will miss you, and your paw prints will always be part of our story. 🌈🐾

Orion, Tango, and Olivia have officially found their furever homes!

Sweet siblings Olivia and Tango went home together, and we couldn’t be happier to see their lifelong bond continue to grow. There’s nothing better than watching adorable siblings start their next chapter side by side. 🥹

These three may have only been with us for a few weeks, but they left paw prints on our hearts that we’ll never forget.
