ANNOUNCEMENT: The Grape Underground Wine Bar & Bottle Shop is changing owners and names. The Grape Underground will change to Dorothy's Wine Bar and will reopen in September.

My last day as the owner of The Grape Underground will be Sunday, August 11, 2024. I am extremely grateful for the time I was able to serve all of the fascinating and beautiful people who visited and enjoyed The Grape Underground Wine Bar. The Grape Underground will still do private wine and food events upon request and be active in the wine community.

Please come in between now and August 11th to help me say goodbye to the best wine bar in San Diego! I'd love to see you all and pour a glass of somerhing fun for you. Please contact me via DM or at [email protected] for private wine dinners and tastings.

The Grand Finale of the 2022/2023 Vinicola Varga Winter Winemaker Series is Monday, March 13, 2023, from 3pm to 9pm.

Ehret Family Wines from Kights Valley AVA in Sonoma, California, will be pouring their award winning red wines as well as giving us a sneak peak at their not yet released new vintage of Sauvignon Blanc. Those who attend can pre-order the Sauvignon Blanc
