One week from this Sunday, on October 8th, it's the Final Midnight Rodeo Parking Lot Party Tribute!! Noon-4:00pm. One last chance to reunite, and reignite, in the cool daylight, at the site, of the place that burned so bright, every night, when we danced at Midnight...Rodeo that is. (yes, pun intended) And one more rhyme I have of mine, to remember the time, when a pick up line, over a glass of wine, was socially fine, and not considered a crime. So come one and come all, to say thanks to y'all, for making Midnight Rodeo, your favorite Dance Hall!! For the record, this is free and open parking lot of the Midnight Rodeo. There are no trash cans, no facilities, and hopefully no rain. I will host the event, provide the music for dancing, make some introductions, and maybe, just maybe, give some of these material things you see, a new home...Random Drawings? Famously Familiar Fun & Games perhaps. I always keep my Frisbees, Ping Pong Balls, and Hula-Hoops handy. Slackers and The Hangar will be open. The Dallas Cowboy's vs 49ers game is at 7:20pm. We'll be done and home in plenty of time. You may bring whatever food or drink you wish, just don't leave anything behind. Last November when fire destroyed our landmark, we were honored that so many of you came to that Tribute Vigil on such short notice. Then, as many who could not attend asked to do one more. I promised you I would, and this is it. I do hope to see everyone there. As before, I'm doing this (as my wife Sarah pointed out) all by myself, on Sunday, October 8th, the same day that just happens to fall on our Wedding Anniversary.
