Scenes from the Summer’s Over Plant-Based Dinner Party!

We love our community and were very excited for a great turnout (& a fairly long waitlist, sorry to everyone we could not squeeze in). A huge thank you to Ronald Fast for driving down from Austin to knock out dinner service. Thank you to Chef Brian for working long hours to make this tasting menu happen. Thank you to our lovely staff who make these services go smoothly. Most important, we appreciate everyone who came and dined- vegans, vegetarians, & meat-eaters, alike. We love throwing parties like this, so thanks for letting us keep doing these events.

GOOD MORNING SAN ANTONIO!!!

Here is our menu for the dinner party on the 27th. We have a guest chef in the kitchen that night- our friend, FAST RONALD, who specializes in vegan pastry. We are incredibly excited for this!!!

GRILLED SNAPPER
Gulf Red Snapper (kobujime), fish fragrant eggplant, coconut dashi, fish sauce caramel, salsa macha, yuzu, fried basil

Comforting and delicious featuring warm fall spice and white eggplant (a mild, creamier, sweeter counterpart to the purple kind). There is also some bonito on the plate that dances as it reaches your table.

16oz Allen Brothers Ribeye, black garlic aguachile, activated charcoal corn tostada (Ancient Heirloom Grains), charred scallion oil, pickled fresno, aji amarillo, shallot, radish, cilantro, lime, smoked maldon

This one is replacing our last steak plating. Featuring a tostada from our friend Chef Paul, we recommend breaking that up and using it to scoop pieces of the steak and its accoutrements (as Brian and Sama’ah are demonstrating above).

We are back for a special Sunday service! Join us September 27 to celebrate the end of summer (or at least we hope- we are so over the heat).

Chef Brian created a seven-course tasting menu featuring plant-based dishes for our vegans (and omnivores, alike). We are also hearing rumors of old favorites making their return for this night only!!! Kenzie has carefully chosen vegan w**e pairings and built cocktails to complement.*** We are excited to share what we have been working on.

Our doors will open at 6:00 that evening, with additional two-hour time slots at 7:30 and 8:45. Tickets are available through the link in our bio. See you then!

*** Drink package is an add-on and is not included in main ticket price.
