HELLO MEDITRINA FOLLOWERS! We are doing a Wine Dinner at Porch in Daybreak! Please check it out!
Meet the Winemaker—THURSDAY, November 17th at 6:30 PM! All the way from Alsace, France to South Jordan, Utah, Daniel Ansen of Domaine Ansen joins us for an evening of incredible wine, robust hospitality, and inspired food pairings with a "Chef Jen Twist." Five courses $65 per person and wine pairings $35 per person. This event will be limited to 30 guests.
THE MENU...
Course One...Vanilla-Scented Seared Ahi, crispy root vegetable, apricot onion chutney, micro greens
w/ Domaine Ansen Cremant d'Alsace Blanc de Noir
Course Two...Melted Leek and Camembert Soup, pickled pear
w/ Domaine Ansen Edelzwicker
Course Three… Baby Kale, jasmine-poached shrimp, shaved fennel, creamy shallot dressing
w/Domaine Ansen Rose de Pinot Noir
Course Four…Coq au Vin (French Red Wine Chicken), rustic root vegetables
w/Domaine Ansen Pinot Noir (special order wine)
