THIS WEEK'S LINEUP at the ciderhouse!

Tuesday: We've got our inaugural Songwriter Showcase competitive open mic tonight at 8! This is a chance for upcoming local songwriters to share new songs and compete for prizes and paid gigs right here in The Garten. Hosted in partnership with , it's going to be a great night will amazing performers. Signups start at 7:30 and the event runs EVERY TUESDAY!

We'll also have Homero's Tacos on site for Taco Tuesday, so come grab a bite and have a drink with us!

Wednesday: D&D for Girlypops continues! Come join the fun and get into character, whether it's your first or 100th time playing, it's sure to be a good time! Groups get bigger every week, so we hope to see you there!

Friday: Paint Nite is back at 7 PM! Grab your tickets before they sell out or catch us at the next one!

Saturday: is hosting a comedy show featuring Alex Quow! Doors open at 7, show starts at 7:30. These shows usually sell out, so get your tickets now!

We are thrilled to have Michael Louis Austin playing in The Garten this Saturday for 4th West Fest! Michael is a staple of the Utah music scene, coordinating open mic nights, teaching guitar, and playing all around the state. You can catch his performance from 4 PM to 6 PM on March 14th!

Blending elements from such artists as Jason Isabel, Tom Petty and Radiohead… Michael Louis Austin’s songs seem to land somewhere in between a Spaghetti Western and a Space Opera. The contrast of ethereal lead guitar lines with Alt Country Acoustic guitar makes for an eclectic yet familiar musical experience.

Michael wrote his first song on a plastic, American flag guitar in his mother‘s pantry on a rainy morning when he was just three years old. It freaked his mom out a little…

His recent releases are at the center of Alternative Country-Rock. His songs fit perfectly alongside Wilco, The Jayhawks, Old 97s, and Counting Crows. 12 new singles were produced in Las Vegas by Thaddeus Corea (son of jazz legend Chick Corea).

Michael performs mostly in Utah, both as a solo artist and with his band. He has opened shows for Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven, Nada Surf, The Spin Doctors, The Supersuckers, Folk Hogan, and Billy Strings. Previously the lead guitarist (and sometimes vocalist) of Las Vegas' 2017 Best Rock Band, The All-Togethers.

Chase Given is back in The Garten this Saturday for 4th West Fest, and we can't wait! Catch his set from 1 PM to 3 PM on March 14th.

Live music is our favorite part of the day, so come by when you can enjoy some incredible performances, shop with local vendors, and eat some good food all at once. We'll be ready to welcome you with cold cider and a good time!

Chase Given is a full-time singer-songwriter who has been performing professionally since the age of 16. For more than two decades, he has built a career on timeless songwriting, dynamic live performance, and an instinctive ability to read a room.

His sound blends soulful storytelling with melodic craftsmanship — inspired by artists like James Taylor, John Mayer, Elton John, and Sam Cooke — while remaining distinctly his own. With a live repertoire of more than 600 songs, Chase moves seamlessly between heartfelt originals and recognizable favorites, creating performances that feel both personal and engaging.

At the heart of it all is connection. Chase doesn’t just play songs — he creates an atmosphere where people lean in, sing along, and leave feeling like they were part of something special. Don't miss his set!

We've got an amazing week coming up at the ciderhouse plus 4th West Fest on Saturday, and we can't wait to see you all back in The Garten! Details below!

Tuesday: Paint Nite is back at 7 PM! Come get crafty with a cider or join your pals for a paint and a perry. It's always a good time. Can't make it to this one? We do paint nights several times a month!

Wednesday: We launch Dungeons and Dragons here at the ciderhouse! This women and queer-friendly D&D event is perfect for beginners and experienced players alike. Come join us for one-offs or long campaigns and a chance to build new friendships! Starts at 7 PM!

Thursday: We'll have Mountain West's newest Little Orchard Series available on draft so stay tuned for the release! 👀

Saturday: 4th West Fest is back! We'll have vendors, live music, good food, and great drinks from 11 AM to 6 PM THIS SATURDAY. Everything is happening in The Garten as long as the weather is nice, and we can't wait to welcome you back!

This event is 21+ and dog-friendly, so bring your pals and your pups and celebrate St. Patrick's Day a little early this year! It's a great place to stop by in between the parade and other festivities, so come relax on the patio with a cider in hand!

KRCL's Women Who Rock Trivia Night will be back at the ciderhouse next week! They're partnering with Questionable Productions for a fun night of trivia to celebrate women in rock, and we can't wait to have them here!

We're partnering with them on a special co-branded cider that will be released that night, so don't miss your chance to get tickets and be the first to get your hands on it! Tickets are limited and they always sell out, so don't wait. You can find any remaining tickets at www.krcl.org.
