Tonight kicks off Songwriter Showcase winners & September residency! They'll be on The Garten Stage every Thursday this month.

Alec Dean is a singer-songwriter and indie folk artist blending warm acoustic textures with soulful vocals and introspective songwriting. Rooted in folk and acoustic music, his projects focus on honest storytelling, intimate arrangements, and songs that explore identity, relationships, and the complicated process of figuring life out as you go.

Creo’s music is rooted in the belief that it can do more than entertain. Drawing from themes of change, identity, connection, and social justice, his songs explore the experiences that shape us and the moments that ask us to grow. His hope is to create music that can make someone feel understood, ask a difficult question, or simply help them through something they’re carrying. His songs live in the space between where we have been and where we are going, pairing intimate storytelling with an alternative indie sound that leaves room for both reflection and release.

Best of Utah voting ends in just a few days, and we would love to have your support! Vote for The Garten Ciderhouse & Bar for Best Bar Patio, Best Dog-Friendly Bar Patio, & Best Neighborhood Bar. Thanks for being the reason we get to do what we do! From live music and festivals to comedy shows and storytelling, our space has truly become a community hub we are proud of.
