I would like to thank Pastor Chris for such a great service for Ray Williams yesterday! A HUGE thank you to The American Legion for allowing us to have the Celebration of Life for Ray there! Thank you to Brad & Smiley for the great BBQ. THANK YOU to the ones that brought the sides and the ones that helped make everything go so smooth yesterday! Thank you to Sonya and Sandi for all the hard work y'all did to serve us.
I know there was many that could not make it for different reasons and I did record some of the service for you to be able to see what we witnessed. There was so much love in the church yesterday for such a GREAT GUY - WHO IS GOING TO MISSED BEYOND MEASURES! You could definitely tell Ray was there with us!
Thank you again for the ones that were able to come and I definitely look forward to many more memories with the BUCCANEER FAMILY! Stay safe and keep the memories alive until we can meet again to make many more!

I would like to thank everybody that took the time out of their day to come to Ray's funeral! We had a great turn out and it was AMAZING to see how many life's he truly touched! Until we meet again BIG GUY please watch over us all!

PLANS FOR SATURDAY FOR RAY!(weather permitting) RAY'S FINAL RIDE will START at 12noon Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Salisbury Mall, the corner of Jake Alexander/Hwy 70 in Salisbury. Kick Stands Up at 12:15pm. The ride will go from the mall to Woodleaf Baptist Church, 7790 Woodleaf Rd, Woodleaf, NC 27054. This is where his visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM. Service will follow at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Chris!
Following the service a Celebration of Life, for Ray, will be at Kennedy Hall - American Legion Post 106, 6250 NC Highway 801, Salisbury, NC 28147. BBQ, baked beans, and slaw will be served. Please come help us celebrate Ray's life and all the countless memories we all have with him!
(If you have a 50th ANNIVERSARY T-shirt, please wear it Saturday in remembrance of Ray!
