Sunday, 14 June is the day for Phase 1 of our modest effort to improve the front of the the Club's building. 8 A. M. is the start time and we don't plan on working beyond noontime.

The primary task will be scraping, grinding, and sanding all of the white steel in preparation for painting at a later date (Phase 2). We will also power wash everything to include the deck. Some gloves, masks, and goggles will be provided, but you can also bring your own. We will also have sandpaper, scrapers, and grinders on hand but again, you can bring your own too. The more the better.

Coffee tea, juice, water and light snacks will be available.

Happy Saturday to all.

We are looking forward to a GREAT summer and are making some plans to spruce the outside up a bit. After all we want to look good for you, but also we want to look good for those that see us everyday. Our home away from should look good!

Volunteers are needed for the work, and for whatever equipment you can provide. This will be a morning project, probably spread out over a few days as we plan to power wash, sand and paint the steel and railings, make minor repairs to the stairs and ramp, sweep, rake, mulch, and plant. Refreshments will be provided.

If you can help we'd be very grateful. Feel free to respond here, or better yet leave your name and email at the bar for Bil. No date has been selected yet, but we'd like to move quickly.
