It is with mixed emotions and appreciation that we announce that Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse in Salem, NH will be permanently closing on New Year's Eve, December 31st.
We are so thankful to our staff, some of whom have been serving you for 25 years, and our valued customers, both who have become family. We feel privileged that our customers have celebrated so many milestones with us. We have loved being part of your lives through food, drinks, karaoke and conversation.
Personally, I started working at Tokyo, as your bartender, 18 years ago on New Year's Eve. It will be bittersweet that I close out on New Year's Eve also.
Closing this chapter at Tokyo offers a chance for new beginnings and new memories. After doing some much needed renovations, the new owner at this location, Tear, will reopen with both hibachi and sushi under a new name with some exciting new concepts. This is his second location offering both hibachi and sushi.
Please join us for our final days (closed Mondays and Christmas Day) through December 31st and show our staff the love they deserve. Although we stopped selling Gift Cards a few months ago, we do encourage you to visit us before we close if you have any outstanding cards.
If you'd like to join us for one last New Year's Eve celebration reservations are recommended.
