A New Fresh fish, every single week, that’s the standard we hold ourselves to. 🐟
This week’s special: Spanish Dover Sole, breaded and pan-fried in a preserved lemon oil made with Spanish olive oil. Served over gigante beans, fennel, lemon supremes, and shallot, deglazed with yuzu and finished with fried capers, parsley, and butter - garnished with a crushed lemon oil.

Most wine lists aren’t sorted the way you think. Skip the grape you already know and point to a region instead, then ask your server one question: “what’s this like?” 🍷

Point to Chianti or Vermentino, those are regions, not grapes — and you’ll get a real answer. Chianti: bright cherry, earthy, food-friendly. Vermentino: crisp, citrusy, made for seafood.

That’s it. That’s the move.

We do this with every table at Sauvignon, no judgment, no pretending you’re supposed to already know. Just good wine and a straight answer.
