Official Statement from La Costa Mexican Sports Bar & Grill

We want to address false information currently being shared online.

La Costa has NOT fired any employees due to immigration status, and we do NOT support or work with ICE. Any claims stating otherwise are completely false.

Over the past couple of weeks, a few individuals made the personal decision to step away from work due to their own safety concerns. Those decisions were respected. No one was terminated for the reasons being alleged.

La Costa remains open with regular hours, supported by our dedicated staff and family members helping cover shifts when needed. We continue to operate as we always have — as a locally owned, community-focused business.

Spreading misinformation harms our employees, their families, and our livelihood. If anyone believes they have factual evidence supporting these claims, we ask that they contact us directly with names, dates, or documentation rather than posting rumors online.

We appreciate the continued support from our community and ask that conversations remain respectful and truthful.

Our DJ Juan, who is with us every weekend bringing the music and good vibes, is going through a very difficult time as he battles cancer.
