Thank you to everyone who came out to to support our dad. The outpouring was incredible, I only teared up a few times.. not bad, ha.

We also appreciate everyone putting up with our short comings as we were too busy and emotionally wrecked helping with the fundraiser and taking care of our father to provide service we consider up to our standards (short menu, sold out items, smaller brats then we normally make, no condiments table, ugh, etc.) It was amazing seeing old friends and family members throughout the busy day. We could feel the love for papa.

Huge thanks to our second family at and thank you to the folks who donated to the silent auction, thank you to and (you guys absolutely rocked)

Have a stellar Blackstack beer, bid on tons of stuff, listen to some awesome music and eat some good food - all for a great cause. It's a win win win win kinda situation!

The silent auction will have something for everyone. You can bid on items from art from and a bunch of super fine local grass fed MEAT haha. And so much more!

There will be music from and plus a DJ set!

Oh haha me and brother () will be slinging tasty eats too (all the beer and food proceeds during the event go to the cause!)

What a crazy end of the year! So much change - all for the best. And we're pumped for 2019!

First of all, let's address the change our of name and our look. We were formerly known as Everything Apple and because of goofy LLC stuff and for a few other reasons we are changing our name. It gives us a chance to free up our menu a little bit (even tho we will be keeping the favorites from Everything Apple - don't worry!). The new name also let's us honor our late grandfather who started the business with my brother originally and passed it down to us - he gave us his yellow spiral notebook which contained all of his secret recipes and other info. We are also moving from the trailer to a truck, woo-hoo! So there you have it, the Yellow Notebook Kitchen, we hope to see you out there early 2019, look for the big black truck with the bright yellow logo!

On top of all the craziness setting up the new food truck, my wife Hanna gave birth to our first born on Dec. 10th! Miles - he is awesome! Everyone is happy and healthy.. and tired haha. (This is Pete, the elder brother speaking btw). It's been an absolute whirlwind, I mean me and my brother Keegan only took on the food truck business full time like 6 months ago. We're all insanely excited for 2019, all the fun and hard work that's in store for us.

Thanks for everyone's support in the beginning of our adventures and through the new changes. Hope you're excited to see what we break out in 2019 also!

Sorry there's been some delay on Pulled Pork; which is what most folks use the sauce for (we're working on equipment 😥) but this stuff is good on anything! ...

This is my secret recipe sauce - Smoking Saucer Carolina Style - a vinegar based, tangy garlicky sweet zippy sauce. I'd call it a barbecue sauce but it wouldn't do justice.. this sauce is great on everything!

An Apple Brat and a Legacy

This will be a look into the adventures of a couple brothers Keegan and Pete as we take up the legacy of our late grandfather and his food trailer!

Get updates of where we'll be set up, serving handcrafted food and see what's on the menu that day.

It started with a recipe for Apple Brats our grandpa perfected many many years ago. Fresh ground pork brats with apple mixed right in, hand cased with secret herbs and spices.

We've now moved things into a mobile food unit, the second brother has come aboard full time, we've been renovating and hand painting the trailer, adding to and working on the menu, reaching out and making contacts... it's all only begun and we're very excited for what's ahead!
