Maloof Wines are produced at their estate vineyard and winery location, No Clos Radio, just outside of Forest Grove, OR. The vineyard and winery is shared with their closest friends. The Maloofs (Bee &Ross) are dedicated to making wines full of energy, with the number one goal of truly capturing a place and time in each bottle.

🌎: Tualatin Hills, Oregon

πŸ‡: No Clos Radio Estate Vineyard- Pinot Gris
A delicate and oxidative Pinot Gris from the original old vine planting of our estate vineyard. Planted in 1973 on the highest slope of the property. Direct pressed and fermented in neutral oak barrels. Aged on the lees with no baΜ‚tonnage for 10 to 12 months and then bottled without any fining or filtration.

πŸ‡: Temperance Hill Vineyard - Pinot Gris
The fruit is direct pressed, fermented and aged in Burgundy barrels. Aged on lees for 10 months with no stirring, and filtered at bottling. 22ppm total added sulfur.

πŸ‡: Johan Vinyard - Rouge de Gris
100% Pinot Gris from the biodynamically farmed Johan Vineyard in the Van Duzer Corridor AVA. 85% of the Pinot Gris was fermented on skins in open top fermenters until dry (33 days), with the remaining 15% fermented carbonically for the same period. Both lots were pressed off together to mature in neutral Burgundy barrels for 8 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

πŸ‡: Where Ya PJs At? - White Blend
Pinot Gris (75%), Riesling (5%), Chardonnay (5%), Muller Thurgau (5%), direct-press Cabernet Sauvignon (5%), misc. field blend (5%). The fruit comes from four sites within the Willamette Valley,

πŸ‡: Wax on wax Soif - Red Blend
Grenache (60%), Syrah (30%), and Viognier (10%) from Steelhead Run Vineyard in the Applegate Valley AVA of Southern Oregon. Originally planted in 1993, this is a cold, riverside vineyard on granite and river sedimentary soils. The fruit was co-fermented on the skins for 8 days before being pressed to stainless steel to complete primary fermentation. Matured for 8 months in neutral oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸŒΎ: Izarra -
Created in 1906, in Hendaye by the gifted botanist and pharmacist Joseph Grattau, it rose in popularity when Grattau moved to Bayonne just before the First World War. It quickly gained a Basque identity (IZARRA means star in Basque), becoming a symbol of the Basque region and establishing itself as a jewel among French liqueurs.

🌎: Basque Country, France

🍸: Green -
For Green Izarra, more than 13 plants are used, including nutmeg, coriander, fennel, angelica seeds and roots, celery, balsam herb (also know as mint geranium), elderflower, coriander seeds, black caraway (nigella), wild thyme, cardamom, green aniseed and wormwood.

During the first distillation, only the heart or β€œmiddle cut” is retained. The heads and tails are returned to the still to be distilled a second time. The middle cut from this second distillation is blended with a double maceration of walnut husks and Agen prunes to obtain the distillate.

🍸: Yellow -
For Yellow Izzara, the final blend includes honey which is added after various macerations in alcohol and armagnac.

β€œJose Luis established his winery Quinta da Muradella in 1990. At that time, the heart of the project was a single south-facing vineyard his father had planted in 1985 named Gorvia. This parcel served not only as a base of operations in the early years, but also as sort of a β€œtraining ground” for learning about the ups and downs of growing grapes in this rugged and mountainous terroir. As the winery achieved some early successes, JosΓ©-Luis was able to purchase some choice land in 1999 and to plant his namesake vineyard, Muradella.β€œ

Collier Creek Wine Co. was introduced in 2016 as a stand alone brand in the Peltier Winery & Vineyards portfolio. It was created to honor the Lodi Appellation, its fruit, and to remind us that farming matters, future matters, and good wine can be affordable and sustainable.

All of their vineyards are Certified Green - Lodi Rules for Sustainable Winegrowing Practices. This third party program is known to be the most recognized in the industry with stringent yearly audits covering all facets of wine stewardship. A number of practices are required to pass the certification including care of the land, air, water, soil, and employee.
