Due to the amazing response, we have run out of food and beverages earlier than predicted. Additionally, my wonderful staff have been putting their heart and souls into making these last days wonderful - working upwards of 12 hours a day. We must give them a break.
We had to shut down permanently Thursday night, August 10th, and will not be opened for the weekend!

We have very regrettable information that we must pass along. A literal good news – bad news situation.
Good News first: $1.00 Beers --- All The Beers – All Day Long!
Sunday: August 12th
Bad News: Our Last Day Open will be August 12th
Due to economic pressures and some irreparable difference in negotiating the lease. We will not be able to carry on past this date. We have been negotiating the lease for almost six months without an ability to come to a meeting of the minds. Rising food, rent, power, water, labor costs, and changes in the available labor pool are contributing factors.
Our analysis, also indicates that the casual fine dining restaurant that is 90% fresh-made that accommodates many different price points, is a thing of the past. We have considered changing our menu, jazzing up our concept and adjusting our service style – if the other factors weren’t so pressing, we would do what it takes to create the lively service style we are known for, as well as our Chef Dave guided dishes to keep what we think is a long standing tradition in St. Helens.
We know this restaurant will be missed, and that it is a big part of the community. But, we also know we will miss you more. We will think about you every day – you all have been such a big part of our lives, the raising of our many employees and the growth development of our restaurant style.
