Update! Harley, the local Uptown Cat, was rescued and treated at a veterinary clinic not long ago. The wonderful couple who saved her were staying at a nearby Airbnb when they discovered that she had been attacked by a hawk! Fortunately, after receiving care and being patched up, Harley is now happily living with this kind-hearted couple back at their home… though we don’t know exactly where that is. It’s such a relief to know she’s safe and loved!

Heads up for Sunday evening traffic in downtown St. Augustine. 🚧

Beginning around 5:00pm on Sunday, May 24, temporary rolling road closures will take place for a religious procession traveling from Mission Nombre de Dios to the Cathedral Basilica along the Bayfront.

Drivers can expect temporary delays on:
• San Marco Avenue
• South Castillo Drive
• Avenida Menendez
• Cathedral Place and nearby downtown routes

King Street will temporarily operate as a two-way street while the procession moves through the area.

If you’ll be downtown Sunday evening, please allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes when possible. The closures are temporary and will reopen as participants safely clear the roadway.
