Hello to whomever may tread upon this sight. Although, we sold SPY almost a year ago, I still receive messages. So I'll take this opportunity to both thank you and refer you to the great restaurant that tookover what is the best spot in St. Augustine. "Mam Thai"moved from Jacksonville to be a part of St. Augustine and offers the best Thai Cuisine that I have ever had. Highly recommend you go by and check it out. They repainted the building and did a grea job updating the upstairs. Great people to. Thanks to those who supported us the years we were there. BTW if you're ever in Tampa, visit Pisces Sushi and Bistro, It's our own Chef's James' restaurant and it is "fine". Happy Holidays, John and Calvin

SPY Sushi Society will host it's second Thursday night Special in our newly remodeled upstairs Sushi Lounge. Our guest Chef Steve Dill created 5 awesome courses for 25 invited guests. Each course was personally introduced by Chef and it was a great evening with great food and great Sake. This Thursday Chef will host another special seating and create 5 entirely new courses. Sorry, can't tell you more, it's a surprise. This week we are holding open 10 seats for our facebook friends. SPY SUSHI SOCIETY will OPEN Friday and Saturday this weekend! Come and enjoy the intimacy of our new surroundings with seatings at 6:30, 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 on Friday. Well Hello. It’s been awhile since our last update but great news. SPY International’s Gastro Pub is now open with SPY Sushi Society opening soon (Remember us for Valentine’s Day). Thanks to everyone for your interest and patience. Although, we have moved our date back due to multiple issues, we will be re-opening very soon.

Here's the latest update. We are currently re-engineering the SPY concept which will change our menu and are in the process of re-tooling our kitchen. Our new concept, gastropub in design, will appeal to a broader base of customers and will also allow us to open for lunch. We aren't quite there yet but we are rapidly moving to the latter stages.

However, we are very excited to announce our first stage.

We hereby establish our exclusive SPY Sushi Society. This is a reservation only concept and is designed to cater specifically to our loyal customers as well as visiting Sushi lovers. We will begin with special weekend seating soon for a specially designed four course meal, which will include soups, appetizers, nigiri, traditional rolls, specialty rolls and dessert options. Additionally, we will also have our craft beers, wines and Saketinis available for your drinking pleasure.

We will post additional details shortly, and please give us your thoughts so we can better prepare to serve you well.

Hear ye, Hear ye!!!!! A special message to all of our loyal SPY Customers. As many of you may be aware, due to personal circumstances, Ralph Rella has returned SPY to Calvin and me. We apologize for any inconvenience that this temporary closing may have caused. However, we are taking full advantage of this opportunity to develop an exciting new concept for SPY. Our new concept is currently under development, and our plans are to re-open within the next 30 days. We will keep you updated with regular posts on our progress. Calvin and I want to THANK all of our loyal patrons for their support over the last four years. Today we sold our beloved restaurant to a dedicated restaurateur Ralph Rella. We are excited to experience the pizazz Ralph's background working from the Waldorf Astoria to The Ponte Vedra Club will bring to SPY's culinary experience. We have enjoyed our time and look forward to visiting and experiencing the changes that will be coming. Again, THANK YOU!
