I'd like to make a super duper fancy official announcement!

In 2010 I launched myself into boss bitch mode the best I could and created True Tattoo. This shop has been packed full of growth, change, lessons, and A LOT of tattoos! So many memories here. I've been able to work with amazing clients and coworkers and I am forever grateful to all of you. THANK YOU.

After 16 years of owning True Tattoo and 20 years of tattooing in Saint Albans, i've decided it's time to explore my next big adventure over the hills and far away. And in the happiest of endings the shop embarks on a new quest as well. The legacy lives on with Francesca Richard. My tattoo daughter. And I wouldn't want anyone else to take over. Watching this bad ass creature evolve over the past 6 years has been an absolute privilege. Francesca, I love you. SO MUCH. You are capable of anything and I can't wait to see what you do with this place.

To our girl Michelle — loyal, thoughtful, and the human version of the Energizer Bunny. Always on the go, always ready to help, and somehow always involved in something that probably wasn’t her problem to begin with. 😂

She has never met a situation she couldn’t insert herself into or a person she couldn’t worry about. She’ll go to bat for you, check on you, defend you, and make it her personal mission to keep everyone else’s life running smoothly.

And let’s not forget… she somehow spends more time out front of the bar than actually in it. At this point, we’re not sure if she works at the Goat or just lives on the sidewalk. 😂

But that's Michelle — big heart, endless energy, and always there when you need her.

So here’s to 29! May this year bring you everything you deserve, fewer problems that aren’t yours, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.
