🌟Today we had the pleasure of welcoming artist David Smiczek and his wife to the Zoo! David is the talented creator behind the stunning giraffe sculpture that has been gracing us this summer as part of the Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum's Public Art Passport. Harvest Celebration uses its bright colors to showcase a wonderful bounty of food! As we inch towards fall, we might think of all of the wonderful foods we get to enjoy, like pumpkins, peppers, cabbage, corn, and sunflower seeds. The Phoenix Community Farm not only supplies Midland with such fresh produce, but teaches the community how food is grown prepared, and preserved!
