Update: there are plenty of commenters to speak for the complimentary ribs but let's keep talking about what BBQ mean to you in the comments. We'll have another round of taste tests coming tomorrow

Good morning everyone. As we're making early preparations to start serving BBQ in Safety Harbor again we would like to start getting our taste out there

We'd like to deliver a rack of our St. Louis style ribs to the doorstep of the first five commenters that will take the time to tell us what BBQ means to you in the comments below. There is no right answer

Edit: Some folks have grown very emotional around things they may have heard about an ex partner of ours who we separated operations with due to some highly concerning professional reasons.

We're no longer affiliated with Johnny Zemzicki. Johnny (the owner of Harbor Bar) and his attorney Valerie Smith sided with our landlord in a legal trial that was protecting his equity stake in the business and asked that our business be liquidated and his money be lost.

We've gladly accepted this outcome and have moved on from that chapter. Please reach out to discuss if you've heard anything that makes you uncomfortable. We're proud to have carried ourselves professionally in business through a very difficult legal mediation process that ended an unreasonable situation. Although this group committed fraud to make it happen, we're truly happy to have this behind us and get back to cooking

Goodmorning everyone. We're handling some ugly business with a unprofessional influencer behind the scenes as you may have seen but we'll be back to talking BBQ here very shortly.

Pre-Orders will be open soon and we'll be updating you on our future operating plans.

We'll be utilizing this as a informative BBQ and general cooking page with recipes, tips, and a inside take of the Florida BBQ and restaurant scene as we see it.

Hi everyone Aaron Stewart here. As an update to what's going on with this post: I came online after being quiet for almost 5 months to let emotions cool and give some things time to play out. We wanted to announce our future plans when some old evil that has been causing us problems for years showed it's ugly face. We planned to offer pre order BBQ for the 4th of July weekend but once again, a group that doesnt like me interfered with my business and cost me money.

I've reached out to everyone around this situation in hopes of resolving like reasonable people but they all hide behind their attorneys and screens.

Now the Walker's attorney has cut communication after using a hardnose appoach and aggressive threats saying she is suing me. I'm not an attorney but I would imagine the Florida Bar Association must at least frown on this behavior. Either way, I'm done with the bullying, harassment, and slander this group has weighed on me. I'm going to take some time to put together a detailed timeline of events and people surrounding this story and be done with so I can move on with my life and get these people out of mine.

Join us this evening from 5 till 8 for our first Supper club style Family night.

Kids 12 and under eat free. Includes first beverage.
Choose from smoked chicken or St.Louis style ribs. Served with a side dish and cornbread.

Tonight's menu: 22 per adult.
Smoked chicken and ribs served with an array of side dishes. Slaw, Mac, Collards, and cornbread.

Alternative dishes: Blackened salmon, Buttered noodles, Mac and Cheese.

BBQ to us means Family and Community Uniting around the love for food.

We're now open on Tuesdays for family night.
Kids 12 AND UNDER EAT FREE.
We'll announce further details later today.

We apologize for the late notice. We've been super busy getting things rolling and our BBQ takes a lot of our time, there's nothing simple about BBQ.

Last night at United Smokehouse was all it was supposed to be. Our new bartender got a crash course and went to work doing her best to provide y'all the genuine Southern Hospitality we were raised with. TJ Weger did that twangy thing he does so well while the bonfire kept the storied laughter brewing, and we United around some good BBQ. Our goal is to Unite People through our love of food.

There's nothing simple about BBQ and We've sure hit a few bumps in the road our first year in the bizz. We genuinely thank you all for staying on the meat train as we rumbled, bumbled, and stumbled our way to the goal line of reopening. We've got a few seats open. All aboard!

We've been working tirelessly on crafting our own flavor profile of Florida BBQ, seasoned through four generations of Safety Harbor lineage to build a BBQ our community can be proud of.

We're gonna do it again next Friday with Home-town dude Keegan Ritz taking the stage.
