We miss the Nolan’s vibe and folks that would pack the place for Open Mic Night. We’ve been gaining some momentum up at Whistle Stop on Tuesdays We run it every Tuesday from 6:30 to 9:30 and every week brings us a wide range of diverse and eclectic musicians. Many local “Harborites” are making a night of it, enjoying the night out and opportunity to sample some of the area’s finest talent. For musicians it a perfect spot to work in some new material, play some old favorites or collaborate with like-minded entertainers. All under-cover, full bar and restaurant with heaters (just in case) We’ll look forward to seeing you soon, come say hello.

To anyone who’s part of our Nolan’s Open Mic family please note.

For Safety Harbor people, I will be hosting Open Mic on TUESDAYS at WHISTLE STOP in Safety Harbor at 6:30 starting Tuesday January 6th.

For Wednesday people, I will be hosting Open Mic on WEDNESDAYS at WHISKEY WINGS in Oldsmar at 7:00 starting Wednesday January 7th.

I’m really excited about the new challenges and opportunities that 2026 will bring and am extremely grateful to Dean Harkey, Katie, Darcey, Scott, Mikey, Danielle, Courtney and even part timer Sam for their friendship, encouragement, and support for the last 4+ years and to all the amazing, funny, kind, tipsy, interesting, and loving patrons of Nolan’s Pub who have taken us in and made us part of the family. I know I’m not the first to say this but I’m really gonna miss this place. Like I said before we’re not leaving Nolan’s behind, we’re taking it with us!

Thanks to Dawn, Patrick and Raven over at Whistle Stop for adopting us and helping us move forward. It’s going to be so much fun. Come see us at Whistle Stop, full bar, great menu, plenty of space, my corny jokes, Sues great hugs, and the fellow music lovers we’ve come to know and appreciate.

On Wednesday December 17th we will be hosting a Goodbye to Nolan’s Pub musical tribute featuring many guest performers past and present that have made it such an iconic venue. I’ve had the privilege and honor of carrying that torch since 2021 and like so many got my footing at this place. It will be sad playing the last few notes. We expect a big crowd and are starting the fun at 6:00 but it will be a late one. You may want to call out or clear your schedule on Thursday! So… one last time… See you at Nolan’s
