There is a change to our regular September meeting. We will be meeting at the Sacramento County Public Law Library at 11:00 am for a tour of their facilities. This was a great tour last year and promises to be just a great this time.

A little brag here - today's tentative ruling granted the name change for my young boy who has been teased unmercifully for years about his first name (it was misspelled in his immigration documents 7 yrs ago)
This is one my proudest accomplishments in my career. And yes, a name change is a very easy process, but this will make a huge difference in this young man's life.
This is why I am a paralegal and Legal Document Assistant.

Ugh, when your client fails to tell you that the case you are filing an answer in has been designated "complex" and you have to call and tell them the filing fee is another $1000. Thankfully, she took it well.
