Join us Thursday, Dec. 19 for an evening of live music and conversation as takes the stage at in Sacramento’s Curtis Park neighborhood!

Cosmic Roots combines elements of jazz, funk and soul for a sound that defies genres. First, they’re going to sit down in front of the audience for a live interview with , the co-host of the podcast “Creativity in the Capital.” Then they’ll treat us to a handful of songs, one of which will be part of our Hangout Gigs local music video series.

Since 2017, the NATALIE CORTEZ BAND’s live shows have been a potent mix of her classic songs from “The Ultra-Violets” (1994-2001) and newer material that crunches power-pop and post-punk together with the jangle, chime and lyrical melodies that earned Natalie SAMMIE “Hall Of Fame” status in 2000.
