Meet The Team!

“Hi everyone!
My name is Meg, but I also respond to Meggaroon, Meggz, Megolodon or any other silly nickname. Just not “Megan” or “shut up, Meg” 😭 (Megatron is okay though.) I am one of the many sets of hands who make your food at Ro. It will be one year in December since I’ve been with IHG.
Having gained a degree in Baking and Pastry, I’ve spent the last 10 years of my life in various bakeries and kitchens trying to hone my craft. I have a deep love and admiration for creating beautiful plates that you can indulge with your eyes and mouth.
I’m originally from the Bay Area, but I’m here in Sacramento pursuing my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Studio Art.
I truly am so lucky to have ended up at Ro Sham Beaux while I pursue higher education!!! I’ve made such beautiful connections within this bar that inspire, encourage, and uplift me in the best ways.
While i’m not at Ro or Sac State, you can find me painting, baking, or enjoying the wonderful third wave coffee scene that Sacramento has to offer.

“Hi! I’m Kat, you’ve probably seen me working in the kitchen at Ro Sham Beaux for the past year or so. Making food for others has always been my love language, so it makes sense that’s what I do for work now!

I’ve been in the restaurant industry for just over a decade, specializing in desserts and plant based foods 🌱 When I’m not at Ro you can catch me at the farmers market, finding a cozy corner to read in, or exploring the outdoors 🤸🏻‍♀️

Meet The Team!

“Hello! My name is Chris, and if you’ve ever sat at my table or my bar I’m sure you figured out that I love what I do.

I’ve worked in hospitality for almost ten years now, from fine-ish dining to fast food to cocktail bars, and the one thing that carries over is sharing something with others. It is an enormous privilege to provide something to people, and an even bigger one to have a career in it. Our community and my colleagues have made me feel like somebody every step of the way, and I am proud to be part of your lives.

All of you make me feel important, and I wouldn’t trade making you important too for anything.”
