THE STEINS ARE READY. Now we need to see who’s worthy of them.
Our Pirate Day Costume Contest is happening Saturday at 3 PM, and this year there’s some serious b***y on the line. We’ve got custom glass steins for 1st Place Male and 1st Place Female, plus prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. And because a beautiful pirate stein should never sit empty, our two first-place winners will also get FREE BEER to fill it up with.
So if you’ve been waiting for an excuse to go completely overboard with the pirate costume… this is it. Eye patches, captains, buccaneers, sea witches, questionable pirate accents, ridiculous hats — bring your best. You’re going to be judged by the people at the party, so make yourself memorable. The goal is to look good enough that the crowd wants to hand you one of these steins.
And we’ve got plenty to drink while you plot your rise to pirate royalty. We’ll have Dogfish Head SeaQuench Ale on draft and in 6-packs — a crisp, tart, super-refreshing session sour brewed with lime, black limes and sea salt. Also joining the crew is Monday Night Brewing’s Blind Pirate, a juicy 7.4% blood orange IPA with big citrus character. Both will be available on draft and in 6-packs.
Plus, we’ve got the official Party Like a Pirate koozees for keeping your beer properly dressed for the occasion.
Saturday at 3 PM: costume contest + live music + llamas + LIVE MERMAIDS + a taproom full of pirates trying to win some seriously good prizes.
